So… you’ve heard about swingers, someone told you about the upside-down pineapple, the lifestyle, etc.
Maybe you’re a little curious. Maybe you’re cautious. Maybe you're wondering if we're even real.
Maybe you’re starting to wonder if maybe — there’s a lot more to this than most people think.
Maybe you're an experienced swinger and like us, you're always still learning.
Good news: whatever it is that brought you here ... you're not alone, and we're here to:
• break down the misconceptions, assumptions, and stigmas
• share what the lifestyle/swinging/CNM really is in detail
• answer your questions without judgement
• provide support as you navigate and explore yourself and this community
... and of course have a great time!
Whether or not you ever explore any aspect of CNM (consensual non-monogamy), the most important thing you might discover is yourself.
Excited? Nervous? Intrigued? Unsure of where to go from here?

Swinging 101 is NOT intended to push you into anything. Neither is swinging in general.
It's NOT about pressure, expectations, or fitting into anyone else’s idea of the lifestyle.
Some areas we WILL cover:
• Understanding what this journey and community actually looks like
• Safety: emotional & physical
• Learning how to communicate effectively and the importance communication has in this space
• Tapping in to (or even finding) your desires as your true self
• Exploring at your own pace
• Making informed, confident decisions
We’re here to educate - not to judge or make decisions for you. We hope to provide the information and support you need to answer the questions only YOU can answer.

Alan Alda
At its core, the lifestyle (also known as swinging or consensual non-monogamy - CNM) involves consensual, open-minded experiences between individual adults or couples—built on trust, communication, and mutual respect.
It also looks different for everyone. Desires, interests, dynamics, boundaries, etc. - even demographics - are all factors that make exploring the lifestyle a very individualized experience.
Some people even:
• Just explore virtually/socially
• Only attend a few events
• Or simply stay curious without ever jumping in
They're all welcome and included.
So if you're curious, but not sure if a CNM dynamic is right for you/your partner, there is still plenty of space for you to observe, explore, and be included here.
There’s no “right way”—only what’s right for you.
The lifestyle isn’t all about spontaneity & sex—it’s really all boils down to communication.
Before anything else, you should be able to:
Talk openly with your partner - even when it's uncomfortable
Set clear boundaries
Express concerns without fear
Check in with each other regularly
If you can’t talk about it… you’re not ready for it. (No judgment—just honesty.)
You're still welcome to learn more while you work on communication with your partner. A lot of these skills are applicable to any relationship.
